As a part of the Strategic Human Resources Management for Southeast Asian Universities project (HR4ASIA), on July 9, 2018, the University of Danang (UD) organized the training short course for the delegation from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand (PSU).
In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the trend of globalization and integration is posing many challenges in human resource training. Human resource capacity is considered as an important factor to create the competitive advantage of each university. Therefore, to optimize the mission and vision of each university, the development of human resource strategy plays a significant important role.
The purpose of the training is to improve knowledge and skills in strategic human resource management. Through the training course, PSU staffs and lecturers also listened to UD’s policies and activities, challenges in human resources management, the recruitment planning and staff training courses.
The training is also an opportunity to link the cooperation between UD with Thai universities in general and PSU in particular, thereby contributing to improve activities in students, lecturers exchange program and scientists mobility program.
